IATA DGR NoticeImportant: As of January 1, 2009, lithium battery products formerly shipped under CFR 49 have been reclassified as "Dangerous Goods." These items can be shipped via UPS Ground in the continental US with special labels. Shipments of lithium metal batteries are strictly limited to no more than 2.5 kg per box (~5.5 lbs) with a total gross weight per shipment of 35 kg (~77 lbs). Items listed as under UN 3090 DGR ("lithium metal battery") shipped intra- or interstate within the US and internationally via air are packaged using IATA Packing Instruction 968. This means that all shipments containing lithium batteries require special labels and documents. Shipments of lithium metal batteries are strictly limited to no more than 2.5 kg per box (~5.5 lbs) with a total gross weight per shipment of 35 kg (~77 lbs). All shipments of lithium
metal batteries will be transported via cargo aircraft. There are no circumstances under which Epower2go, Inc. will ship lithium metal batteries via passenger aircraft. In addition, we provide 7x24x365 Hazmat MSDS reference services via Infotrac, Inc. and photograph each shipment to ensure that the integrity of the labels required by the regulations are maintained during transit.
