DS12C887 - Maxim Dallas Semiconductor Y2K-compliant 24 Pin DIP RTC Module.

The Maxim Dallas Semiconductor DS12C887 is 24-pin DIP RTC plus CMOS RAM memory and onboard battery. Designed to be a direct replacement for the DS12887, BQ3287MT, M48T86, TH6887, OEC12C887*, HT12888, et al. The DS12887 is identical in form fit and function to the DS1287 and has an additional 64 bytes of general-purpose RAM. Many types of IBM desktop systems including those made by Hewlett-Packard, Compaq and Dell use the Maxim Dallas Semiconductor DS12887 RTC module to maintain computer clock and CMOS RAM information instead of standard clock batteries. 

NOTE: The DS12C887 is not compatible with Award 4.50G and 4.51PG BIOS segments. It is compatible with all AMI and Phoenix BIOS groups.

Please read the RTC Module FAQ in its entirety BEFORE ordering or replacing an RTC module.  This product qualifies for interstate shipment via UPS ground and air service as well as USPS Priority and Express mail.
